yeah.; ima dressing some problesm with jets\ etc. also with at missiles(primarily so they can kill helos bettery. i might make 2 version of the predator whith one ammo for each. a point and drag and an actual lock on for longer range.=) point drag version would be usefull against anything and helos. lockon will be only for far ground targets with top attack=)

u know whats funny. i posted it at filefront. and spawn put it at filecloud and next thign i know. its on fileplanet too cus of scot.but nowi google bf2 assault mod. and i find it ALL over the internet =D OH joy!!! its getting notice/!

Hey guys, this mod sounds great, but have you heard any problems unzipping the file in Windows Vista? I have tried winzip, turbozip and even winrar and none of these applications are working.

hmm. well. iv never tried it on vista before. i use an xp based system. if the filecound links dont work. search the mod here at filefront

I have tried filefront, filecloud, and even Gamers Hell locations with no luck. Just to make certain winzip was working ok, I downloaded the New Battlefield 2 Beta Map, Tampa and it worked fine. I have also installed a different mod, Project Reality and it also installed with no problems. I'm starting to think this may be file/Vista incompatibility. This is unfortunate since I really wanted to play this mod. If I figure this out I will let you know. Thanks.

i have had no luck unpacking it either. tried other utils that work with zip to.

using XP sp2.

please put a good copy up as this sounds like a very cool mod!

Question for whoever can answer it

First of all I just want to say that I am new to these forums and I have looked for the answer to this question with no success.

Secondly I just want to congratulate the mod team which made this mod. I have probably tried about 15 others and this one is the best. That being said here is my question:

(Disclaimer - This is probably a noob question but.......)

There is like 3 or 4 maps included that are night maps which I think are cool but I can't see a damn thing on them. Is there a night vision key and I'm missing it or what?

item number 7 defaulted to button 7 or whateveryouchanged it to ought to do the trick =) the full version of bf2assault is coming along nicely. shot guns are back and they can kill from about 100 feet(not the best option for that range though of course. one shot kills for the most part.

as of now. shoot a non body armor target in the chest= TOTALLY DEAD. same goes for hits on the head.

limbs grant fair but not lethal damage. body armor (heavy soldiers) are greatly protected as the shotgun isnt as effective on them. thats done because the engineers (light soldiers withoutbodyarmor) already have a powerful weapon+ the shotgun. so it balances out. choose the engi\assistant gunner and you get great weapons but ur easy to kill.

Tried it over the last day or two and love it. Fantastic piece of work, well done to all involved.

My only comments....
Server settings defaults to internet server (so firewall caused HUGE lag til I worked out what was going on.)
What's the switch to switch player names back on? (it just makes life easier).
How come the Chinese / MEC are using some of the H&K's?

ah its a command you can enter(nametags will return in the full version[dis was beta) oh and h and k's well those are the older h@k's so i thought it would fit. all the new stuff the eu and us get =) unless you count unlocks and stuff which im also fixing. glad you had fun. MORE TO COME TO THE BATTLEFIELD! im at school now so later today or tomarrow il put the command to bring the nametags back=)
