Is there a reason there is no dialogues showing up? Ex. Who I killed - who killed me etc.

yea before i know it i am -60 with a couple rockets lol, choppers = pwnage in this mod.

ah when it asks for u to create the new folder bf2assult . select yes. itl should isntall just fine
the shortcut is in teh files u unzipped. its calleD BF2ASSAULT 7.117 ( and im not talkin bout the installer. dont worry il make it more obvoius as it doesnt really show the propper icon)

I have noticed the icon, it just shows as if it has nothing to relate to.

But i can run it fine once in BF2 then select is from community list.

I played some SP as there were no servers and its pretty decent, i think the A10 minigun is abit too overwhelming, takes out other aircraft with like 2 bullets lol.

Excellent Mod. I got seriously slaughtered by the bots...seems alot more realistic than Vanilla and the custom maps are the best I've played.

I installed this mod in my bf2 directory..C:\Battlefield 2\mods as i do with many of my other mods but nothing is showing in BF2 & i have no icon or start menu addon neither???

How do i play this mod?

Doesn't matter i figured it out, i needed to creater a new folder myself in the mosd folder.

Well had the same problem, no BF2Assault folder in the mod folder showed up when using the standard settings in the setup. After creating my own folder manually and installing everything into it, everything now seems to show up.
However when starting the mod all I get is the BF2 logo starting screen and then crashes back to the desktop.
No clue what I am doing wrong

Well just tried to start the game from the community button as mentioned above. Seems to load successfully , but then after the BF2 logo startup logo all I get is a black screen with Bf2 not responding at all.

I have a server up, search IMA.

Only bugs so far:
no you killed, killed by etc.
the jump seems to no work like vannlia
Op. Black Hawk down CTD and i have everything maxed out

-first response make sure ur installing it correctly, also make sure its tot he correct hard drive (shortcut is in one of the bunch of files u unzipped) and if u have to edit the properties of the shortcut iif its not the right harddrive

oh yeah teh a10mini gun is a beast. we might balance somore.

the reason there is no ingame text because.
"- THERE IS NO INGAME TEXT no 3d maps
- benefits
- no rivalries, you get killed doesnt matter who killed you, its the fact that u got killed that mattesr
- no spamming
- no swearing via text.
- u gain a good amount of frames per second
- you have a clean screen and you can kill and find targets faster
- gets u in the game instead of reading teh left side of screen

wooot servers are going upt!
hmmm in teh menus it says its a 64 size game. but it should be 32. thats weird.

black hawk down ctd?! strange. il take a look into it.

i have noticed that when u try to type something in it doesnt show up and when i say something like got it and when u shoot the missiles they dont make a sound ??

- ah yeah. the only single drawback of no ingame text is no text messaging. we thought about it and we decided to leave it out. and do everything with, voip, xfire, teamspeak, ventrillo, and skype. those are all good voice programs. we just liked how clean teh screen was without all that stuff.

about the missile sound. il chek it out. hmmm

oh . and jumping was nerfed to fix teh bunny hopping issue(fakeness) so if u needa get oversomthing. use the grapple hook=)

Do u have the server files in a zip file not a .exe. I had to intall the server on my personal pc then zip the files and un zip them on our clan's box. My server keeps crashing when it swtiches maps. Do you think it has somethong to do with the way the server was put up?

yeah it does have a crashing thing. issues(its a beta after all) but were working on it. il have server zip files up soon instead of an installer.
