Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope 2. Once more a short reminder before the update: The Forgotten Hope Developer Team is always looking for talented, dedicated personnel in all spheres of modding. At the moment we are especially interested in people able to do rigging, UVW unwrapping, vegetation modeling and sourcing and engineering sounds. Points of contact can be found on our stafflist.
Time to start the update with a little more than a fire-cracker. McGibs finished a quite useful high explosive for the British forces. The No74 ST Grenade was designed in 1940 and with a total weight of 1.000g it had 600g nitroglycerine ready for detonation. Its working principle was quite similar to the Mills Bomb and if all went well, the grenade would hit the target up to 60 feet away, stick, and then explode. BOOOOM
We would like to continue with the German light armoured reconnaissance vehicle SdKfz 222. Driven by a Horch 3.5 petrol engine its 90 horsepower allowed a maximum cruising speed of 80 km/h and a cross-country speed of 40 km/h. The Sonderkraftfahrzeug 222 was armed with a 2 cm KwK 30 L/55 autocannon and a 7.92 mm Maschinengewehr 34 machine gun. It was modelled by Lude, Rad and AceS, who did the skinning and created the old SdKfz 222 for the BF1942 version already. And last but not least it was deployed into the game by ctz.
