As promised in their update not too long ago, the Eve of Destruction 2 mod team is back to release the client files for their latest version, v1.1. The password for the client, whether or not you downloaded it from the torrent, is popsmoke. This password applies to all versions of the client build, not just the torrent.

I'm getting 93 kbpersec from the strategy informer link, which isnt great, but I'm lookin forward to giving this a go. I'll be very interested to see how the new sniper rifle changes operate.

Its a full release, so no incremental patch.

Shame this mod died so quickly. Out of all the mods this was the one that managed to get infantry combat / damage right in my opinion. Only 4 populated servers (with populations of 1, 1, 1, and 18) respectively
