There is a new mini update posted today over at the Battlefield 40k mod website. Here's what they had to say:

Today we are finally showing the ongoing rigging of the T'au Infantry models into both BF40K-BF2 & BF2142.

Thanks for the kind comments, still got some issues left to resolve in the models and textures though, but slowly getting there.

If you get really jammed on the character models for BF2. Vic on our team, has extensive experience with them. We've got over 40 different model styles within EoD, between the US Army, VC, NVA and now the Aussies and ARVN.

In addition. He's done character rigging and models for Pirates, FS and several other mods.

frigin awesome!...the scope view looks very immersive and the chicky soldier model..omfg...nice work!..about time some women were added to a bf2142-bf2 mod....keep it go!

The scope view on the first tau pic is from a default 2142 weapon :-/

yo lionheart...gows it going mate!...sorry but i forgot all about them days,all so flat out these days,mods galore!..lol....damn good to see your still hard at it,cant wait for the 40k experience on the bf2142 and bf2 engine.
i got got so many copies of white drarf mag its not funny,so im a big fan of bf40k,keep up the good work.
