There is a new update posted today over at the Experience WW2 mod website. Here's what they had to say:

Welcome back to another team XWW2 update! For this news update we are pleased to show two of our modelers work via renders. We have here two small caliber anti tank weapons and a machine gun used by the Allied *LRDG. This same weapon was also used as a defensive gun on board certain RAF bombers and is shown in two setups. Also, we have for you a small update on the Karabiner 98K skin. It seems there was a few of you that were not satisfied with the coloration and someone even compared the former skin's wood coloration to some snack meat! We couldn't have a pepperoni log in our arsenal could we?

My Xww2 name is Jeremy, I am from the mapping department. We have made some great progress there as well. Not to mention the return of one of our old mappers as well.

Used to play Xww2 on the BF1942 engine.enjoyed playing it as i did all the mods for the game.Im sure the mod will be a hit albeit it it has very tough competition from the other ww2 mods...hell i will be playing them all.....once i get my 500 terrabit HDD:laugh:
