United Coalition Mod Update

We've been sent some news today from the United Coalition mod team about their latest update. Take a look:

Welcome everyone to our mod update for April. We have been working like mad getting a lot of new things together, the small size of the team means many hats worn by few. Right out of the gate I would like to tell you about our website. It's been up for 5 weeks now. We are still developing it as we go, but its really starting to come together. We have the forums in full swing, our Image gallery has been started, but we still have much to add to it.

Content wise this month we are setting a great pace for vehicles and weapons. We now have several vehicles awaiting export. Mohtab has modeled a mid 80's Japanese car for the INS forces to trek around in. Floppy has textured Carib's RG-31 Nyala, and has just received the C2-1 Mexas Armour upgraded Leopard for unwrapping and texturing.

Mohtab's remodeled C7A2 Assault Rifle is ready to fire, one of the best weapon texturing jobs I've ever seen, while Sarge is back and modeling the C6. These two rifles round out the list of CAF handheld weapons for the mod. Graphics wise Conker has another desktop background added to our gallery that compliments Texhulligan's very well, and are working on advertising posters for an upcoming promotion. Read more...

Nice stuff.

Is this going to remain an independant mod or ae you planning to merge at some point? The best way to get content used and enjoyed is to be in a big mod that will get lots of play time. (Just an opinion because I would love to see Canadian forces in PR and if you brought them the goods...<_<)

I checked out their website and they haven't got many models. But what they have got is pretty top notch. I love that car. I'll be keepin' an eye on these guys.

I'm confused.. what mod is this? Didn't this used to be Conflict Canada? and if it did, what happened to the other models and screenshots - i don't see them on the site.

Thank You for all the kind words everyone.

We were formerly known as Conflict Canada, but merged with another mod to become United Coalition. However the funny story to that is the guys from the other mod are now off to other things.

DoubleVee, we still have all the content from the original postings of CC, the website is still under development and as we work on those things we are adding the new versions/screenshots into the gallery. We are a small team of only 6 that work on the mod daily, but have an extended team of 3 more that do work for us on a as needed basis. We are looking for more people to help and join the team.

Content wise, we are only adding things that are in Afghanistan or Iraq for real. No fantasy content. This mean the insurgent forces only have light vehicles, no air or armour. But this is balanced with their mobility and heavy personal arms.
