From the YouTube Video it looks like they replaced the Animated Birds that were in BF2 and replaced them. Thats a cool and interesting idea, good job.

very good mod, i like it!!

but i have question, why mosin sniper or rifle isnt correctly works? i mean when i reload it it looks like M24 from BF2, isnt impossible to correct that?
weapons like have vietnam medic is just new and good made

I normally don't install mods, but, I tried out DCON and loved it so I thought I would give EOD a try thinking it would be on the same level. Wrong. IMO, EOD looks like an older game, the menu screens should have the same theme as BF2 but it's all green and barely ledgable. I played as much as I could tolerate all the snipers, about 30mins. I appreciate the work that went into this mod, but I don't like it. Just my .02.

I agree with this.
Except for the snipers, which I didn't have problems with but I could see why some would. The most frustrating thing was that I couldn't read the menus or figure out who was in my squad.

The maps I played on seemed really small, but that's something to taste.
The detail looked like 1942 all over again...which isn't necessarily bad but won't go over very well with more detailed models and etc. from other mods and newer fps' hitting the market soon...


my overall assessment is that the gameplay feels great, but it's more aimed at an EOD follower. there wasn't much there to keep me interested as a first time player. I'd say the menu color scheme has to be changed to gain any momentum at all. The dark and light green that makes the menus near unreadable is a showstopper, in my opinion. the thought that kept entering my mind while playing was that the models/maps/and minimap were rendered with crayons/watercolors--bright and colorful, without much definition. I'll stick to other mods for now, but congrats to the dev team for the work they did on this.

We are going to be hosting 2- US based mod servers out of Chicago.

I am looking at possibly hosting the Eve of Destruction mod on one of them. I should have some news on this by Sunday evening. If we decide on EOD as one of the mods to host, I will post the server information on the forums.
