I always liked these quirky type of mods for BF1942, alot of them made by Japanese teams.

yeah, no offense, but filecloud is like really slow *always*

I'm getting around 250 KB/s which is about half my max and I'm from mainland Europe downloading of the New York server. Not bad at all.

Had the pleasure of playing this mod earlier today. It's very good for something that a (seemingly) small mod team put together, although this was to be expected since I played the BFV version of this mod. The statics are pretty well done. The maps really look like Japanese neighborhoods. And while the English radio commands aren't all too great (you can tell it's a Japanese guy doing them), the Japanese ones sound really professional, with radio static and cracks. Gameplay-wise, it's your standard BF2 conquest fare.

Great job overall though.

I was under the impression that they used custom game play modes. CS style (similar dcon-domination). Oh well, I guess I'll find out

I played for a few hours tonight. The mod is very well done. The details on the models is amazing. The map east fuji is worthy of running 24/7. It is an objective mode map that is set in a small CQB training facility. One team has to destroy two bombs that are located in different rooms. The other team defends them. The catch is that only the engineer gets c4 and his only weapon is the pistol. I had a full squad do a great job of blowing up the bombs pretty quick by working together. It was a beautiful thing.





I have 17 mods installed and in my opinion, only POE2 exceeds this mod in polish and playability.

Edited to add this:

You can also open and close doors with the E key.

Note that the second screenshot is from before the last update. The map is the same but the kit load outs are different.

Nice maps but it needs some work especially the machine guns..can't hit a damn thing with them. I just put about 30 rnds into a guy a close range and he just stood there and nailed me. That got old real quick.

Couple of tweaks here and there and it will be a killa'.

I don't get these mod things? What are they..? Are they like patches?

On the assumption that you are not joking...

They are modifications to the original game. They can add HEAPS of new stuff. New armies, sounds, maps, effects, gamemodes, etc

You simply must try the best ones out to get the idea :)

I recommend project reality. If you dont like that simply because of its gameplay then get poe2 and go nuts

the AKIRA (the anime...)motocycle is in this mod and is hella fast!!!!
