I don't have bf2 installed anymore so getting it all set up with DCON would take a good hour or so.. Is it worth it?

It's an okay mod, but it's not what I expected as a Desert Combat vet. Just because it's a Desert Combat mod with throwback gameplay doesn't mean it needs throwback graphics (the shaders and the skins were kinda crappy on weapons bunkers, the stuff seems too lit up, idk) and Vanilla BF2 weapons. Alpha or not, I'm pretty dissapointed.

BF2 weapons? Does BF2 have a Car-15, a VSS, A Stinger, a Grail, An RPG?

The Fully auto M16 is needed, because the AK47 will own you from way off in the distance, then again, so will the CAR and VSS, and the RPG, lol.

Well, I really love this mod, the only thing I hate are the planes... the A10 and Frogfoot are completely useless, because it's too easy to shot them down. The F15, F18, Mirage and the Mig are the new noobtubes. I don't know what to do, I got shot down too often... in the "normal" BF2, I lose 1/50 dogfights, in Dcon 1/10... so hard. :S Every rocket hits me...
