The Desert Conflict mod team has released their alpha build promo video today. Check it out:

The wait is over.. The end is near.. The Sandstorm returns. Join the DCON devs and the DCON testers as we present to you.. The DCON Alpha Build Promo!

I wont spoil too much for you.. But just remember the significance of this being released. I made a post about it sometime ago in the forums.. If ya dont know.. I'd start searching for the post.. STRAP yourselves into your seats as we blast you across DCON's remakes of Classic maps. Mixed with footage from all of DCON's maps and a great soundtrack we hope you enjoy.. If the scene from 73 doesnt give ya goose bumps nothing will.. I'm not gonna fill this post with all sorts of stuff like I normally would because its not needed..

I have it uploaded to YouTube if you want to watch it while you wait for the download. I highly recommend the HD version. I'm burning it to DVD and gonna watch it in style!

I've watched it already about a dozen times. It sends a chill up and down my spine EVERY time. Don't just watch the crappy Youtube version, get the HD. There are more mirrors on our site if FileCloud's being slow.

the release date is when it is released. we're protective of our baby. however, on this same token, it is about time it saw the world! i would keep the CD's handy.
