I’ve been reading these forums for a while now and honestly, I am no longer surprised to read comments like the one above coming from your organization. Kind of sad really, considering we’re all here for the same reason. All I can say is, get over it.

id have to agree, i mean we can all understand the human element of completion but enough is enough, shouldn't there be a bit of public forum respect for each others hard work?

i honestly think less of a mod team when i see them say things like that publicly, seems like they dont always take into consideration the damage they cause not only their own mod but the entire mod community in general, no one wants to see devs bickering back and fourth in a public forum. its one thing to pm each other and compare notes but the public bashing just makes the mod tag in the bashers profile all that much less attractive in the long run.

I really enjoyed the video and have nothing but praise to heap on the guys who have put this mod together ..

All this public bashing is like a bunch of kids in a playground and i have to agree with *FMJ*Powers comments ....

Again thanks to the team for putting in all there hard work to make this mod possible and see you on the fields of battle ...

Dude like i said no disrespect, I dont know maybe the video was more of a fast pace, and for imformation southern watch was awhile ago, made better maps scents then. But I'll credit you on your music you have on your site is pretty good.

No disrespect but I didn't like the video, was very good. Still seems to have a BF2 feel not Desert Combat. I'm out got to get up at 0500 for PT

ohh i agree, he wasn't being harsh, just expressing his opinion, nothing wrong there. i was just elaborating the situation that CATIA pointed out. in past media updates i saw some pretty less than desirable responses from other mod developers that made their own mods all that less attractive in my mind.

I thought the purpose of a PR teams was to improve relations w/ the public, not yell/flame people who aren't fans. It is tarnishing your image more and more with each TBF thread. Thank the fans, tollerate the flames... but immature crap like "you're a genius" and accusing people of bias due to prior personal conflicts makes the mod look like it has a inferiority complex.

Hey, its MACH10 voicing his opinion in a DCON thread.

He never said he wasn't a fan, he made a comment about our video. In return, he got some replies. Not just from our PR guys, but others who seemed to say the exact same thing.

About our image being tarnished, thats beyond funny. The same people will rip us as always. Other DEV's (as well as EX Devs), and there groupies. :p

Your post is just trying to incite ill feelings, and why? Maybe you are somewhat disgruntled or maybe you're guilty of certain things in the past when you were once a DCON dev? Not worried about some colorful comments between our fans and the hard working and caring PR dept. Much worse has been thrown at us and we're still standing tall.
