Desert Conflict Mod Update

There is a small update posted today over at the Desert Conflict mod website showing just how close they are to release. Take a look:

Well we think we've isolated the issues with the m109's and the arty code not working together. Kiff has worked alot of crazy hours on it and hopefully this will fix it.. This has been the biggest hold up for us in regards to releasing. So we'll be doing some hardcore testing with the fix to see if it holds up. Wish us all luck.. We've adjust a few things on the jets in how they handle.. This was done to make the bombers handle less like fighters and more like bombers. We also tweaked a few other things to get a better balance and a better feel.. So.. we'll be testing the hell out of it.

As one of the newest additions to the tester team, I can assure you all it will be worth the wait.

And they aint lyin about the devs putting in a lot of hours, I'm not sure they even sleep.

Well, so far, so good. Tonight's testing went very well. No crashes to desktop. We'll test it for a few more days to make sure this bug got squashed. Cross everything you have: fingers, toes, eyes, etc. We'll keep you as updated as we can.

We think the "whole" arty thing got squashed. It only seemed to affect the M109s. The MLRS, BM-21 and SCUD never had probs, but no reported incidents since the last fix. I'll have Gazala's PR release to you guys by the afternoon. :) We're starting to get the documentation finalized for the different GPMs and the arty system, so look forward to getting those as well before release to get familiar with them.
