FLOT Hosting a US Intervention Weekend

The guys over at the Forward Line of Own Troops clan is hosting a US Intervention event this weekend. Here's what they had to say:

This coming weekend, 16 - 18 March 2007, FLOT will be hosting a US Intervention weekend on our USI server. The purpose of this weekend is to bring together fans of the mod and boost the popularity and exposure of this underplayed mod. USI is a mod based on the first Iraq war (aka Desert Storm), pitting the US vs Iraqi forces. It's mostly desert combat with some killer tank battles!

A special Team Speak server will run for this event at the following IP: 64.34.180.198:8781

Everyone participating in the even is welcome to join us there.

I love USI! Unfortunately, a lot of people have no idea how awesome it is. Hopefully this will change that.

Can you still play USI? I thought that the last patch screwed it up and they never released a hotfix. I love this mod , I thought no one could play it, and we were just waiting on the next release.

We did release a hotfix and it works just fine. The modjive version has the patch included in the actual build. Check out our new website btw! http://us-intervention.com/

I never encountered problems with the old build and the 1.41 patch. The only problem with a patch ever was the 1.2 patch I think. That was because of the vehicle drop functionality.

However, this build is old and its not as much fun as the current internal build :p

hey that is awesome cant wait only one problem...
can anyone tell me where this hotfix is because the other day i tried to play USI and it crashed at join game 3 times in a row....i have 0.11 is that the right one if not send me a link pls, thx

0.11 is correct. Make sure the setting for the terrain is on medium at least.
That was our stupidity in the old version

umm wolfi i have that installed and i clicked singleplayer and i CTD
idk....i installed .11 again any help pls?
i have to have terrain on medium? i have it on high...
ok just tried to click the mutliplayer tab and i CTD again
changed terrain settings to medium same...i wanna play USI

sp was not supported in .11a, grab modjive and get 11a with the fix included, hope it helps

singleplayer doesnt work in the old usi....i didnt know how to do it then. But the next release will support it, and the bots are pretty good, especially if you put it on the hardest level with over 30 bots :)

thx alot finally got it up and running only 1 server though with 6 ppl max....
we need support for USI cmon ppl...
ahh i remember the days of full USI servers...A-10 was so beautiful...

I cant get any files from the USI website. and for some reason Modjive is giving me some kinda wierd error so I cant use that, where can I get client and hot fix?
