    Battlefield Podcast Episode 44 Released

The team behind the Battlefield Podcast site have released episode 44 of their series today. This new episode features a chat with Colin Clarke. Here's what they had to say:
Well for Episode 44 we got our hands on Colin Clarke, community manager for Battlefield at DICE. He is answering your questions this week as well as any coming week as long as there are questions to be asked. Of course the topic of discussion is Northern Strike and not only does Colin shed some light on things but the Northern Strike Training website has also been updated with the unlock and awards information and a new trailer showing off the Goliath Heavy APC.

Bruce Hung gives us a tip of the week on how to utilize that second monitor you have in the closet, Navspecwarcom tells us about unlocks without Northern Strike, and Heekwon can't get any sleep over the issue of base-raping.

We also wanted to announce that we have revamped the file formats that are available for download. We now have 3 video formats and 1 standard audio format available. In addition to that we are introducing the Premium Members program whereby, in exchange for a small donation, you can receive our highest quality video version 24-48 hours earlier than the public. Aside from that, things remain the same, and we hope you enjoy our new, higher resolution video versions!

Be sure to check it out and post your feedback either in this thread, or in their forums. You can visit their site by clicking here.

SO the Community Manager is going to spruik and sell the upcoming expansion pack, rather than, well, manage the community?

Maybe he should consider paying a visit to the editor website which he has not been to since 2142 was released?

As Seigman put it, on IRC:

    Missing: Battfield mod support.
Last Seen: Battlfield 2 pre-release as a PR stunt.

If you don't see the need for it to be posted here why waste your time posting a response? No one is making you view it, and on the main page you can even close it if you feel so inclined.

I believe 18zulukiller is just venting his disappointment that we get no support/updates/info on BF2 anymore.

You would remember the anticipation at EA's "big news" a couple of weeks ago.....just to be let down with the news of the impending release of the all in one BF2 dvd.

I personally believe BF2 was dropped too early by EA.........

I'm sure most people would agree with that.
