That's great. Now I have to ask this question... How are they going to implement their patches on a console only battlefield game? Are they actually, dare I say it, going to....finish it? And maybe test it? I can't comprehend the stress they must be going through developing this game. That's how you can tell they'll eventually release a PC version. They need their bug-fixing fix.

The new generation of consoles are more like computers now, with HDD's, USB ports etc

Patches will automatically D/L as required.

BUT......

Until this game is maybe/released onto the PC, no interest.......BF Modern Combat anyone????

Uh what are you smokin my friend? Bf2 movies look as good as the game. Of course the movies are choreographed and all that, but the old movies were still the BFV engine. The BF2 engine is way better looking than that.The opening trailer in BF2 at Daquing oil fields is just the way the game looks and feels to me

Look at the Blackhawk, different (better) sounds, MEC kits, civilian cars (bullets and alarms), tank explosions, all of which are better then what we have in BF2 ... and that was an official trailer, btw ( misleading? ).
p.s. i'm not talking about the intro movie

Yeah, im pretty sure none of our BF2's look like that trailer. Looks like EA took everything from all the projects they had at the time - from your regular old BF2 to Special Forces to ... i dunno looks to me like Modern Combat from the consoles. (sounds, models, ect with the exception of the HUD... though that may even come from Modern Combat as well). All in all, a very misleading trailer.

I am doubtful that the trailer will be that far off from what i see in Bad Company........................ in 2008. :cussing: boo

However, i agree with Defeatest. Assuming he is talking about the Daquing Oil Fields trailer/intro movie.

Pretty cool video interview, I'm glad I'm getting a PS3 now. I wonder if they've got anything planned for the humble PC though?
