The Alpha release won't have singleplayer/bot support. However, I'm sure if people like the mod enough, it'll get done, whether it's by the SP mod community, or people join the Dev team to do it. :)

Well, PR is a hefty DL size, but obviously its well worth it.

Thanks for the kind words :salute:

This is true, but keep in mind that a single map is anywhere from 30-60mb, while a vehicle is around 3-5mb. Gameplay modes + other scripts are next to nothing

Normally when I look at new games and things, I always like bigger=better, because it has better graphics and more content. 700 megs isn't real big, but if you compare it to what desertcombat was is 691 mb, so I'm not worried.

Nice work, even though the mapper didnt scale down the map to BF2's standards. Sure its the Inshallah heightmap, but it doesnt have the feeling of being Inshallah with that scale Anyways, can't wait to get my hands on your release. You have some neat coding guys so Im sure the gameplay is great.

                            It was 591 :p

I loved this map so much, and I was pissed when they got rid of it. This one was great for CTF as well, total friggin bloodbath.

It wasnt a case of, o lets get rid of that great map. It was broken and was a big game breaker... so we took it out of the final release same for battleaxe.

Do you really think the team thought hey lets just get rid of this great map

Well, "YOU" guys made a bad choice IMO. I played the map constantly and it never crashed or had any issues for me.

The important thing is that its back. Thanks to the DCON guys, this was a sore spot when it vanished long ago.
