Total Frontlines: Fuel of War Launches

The Total Network is very happy to announce today the latest addition into our network: Total Frontlines. Frontlines: Fuel of War is one of the most anticipated games of 2007 and is created by the team, now known as Kaos Studios, who brought you the highly acclaimed Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942. Not only have we launched a Total site for the game, we're already bringing you exclusive content for Frontlines.

Frank DeLise, General Manager of Kaos Studios, has kindly agreed to do an interview with Total Frontlines to help us launch our new site..and best of all, the interview is comprised of the community's questions! You can learn more about this exclusive interview and about all aspects of this game by checking out the Total Frontlines. We hope to see you all there!

    Yeehaaa!!!

I am the first to post to this!!!!!!

Frontlines is a series that I will be as involved in as possible from day one (that was a while ago). This is what we were hoping BF2 would be, and what KAOS has planned and completed thus far, well it's mind blowing.

The game looks WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for this to be released.

P.S: NO GLOBAL RANKING SYSTEM! Plus the game is going to be easier for the modders to do their thing.

The movie really left me with nothing. I hate movies that show no ingame footage!!!!!!!! I just feel like I'm being lied to you know. Still should be great though.

I've just read that interview and there backed by THQ now that's awesome .

Like Relic -- they've had some downtime after finishing Company of Heroes so we'll have those guys make some buildings structures for us. We are very cooperative, which is very different from EA
Company of heroes is an excellent game and one of the main things i remember about that game is the destruct able buildings . I've got to honestly say screw BF3 (or whatever they call it) it'll probably be a total cluster **** again like BF2 .

The game also supports widescreen monitors.

The only thing that worries me about this game is that its being developed across PC and consoles.

Not many games turn out great that are being developed across the different platforms.

                          It happens, but its rare.

Very true but they have also said this in an interview:

You're doing an Xbox 360 version as well. Do you still see hardcore PC gamers as your core audience?

Halper: Yeah. We'll appeal to the layman too, but hopefully they'll become hardcore gamers as they play the game... The challenge for the Xbox 360 users is the control mechanism, but the interface is very intuitive.
So atleast they recognize PC gamers is where it's at and hopefully will focus a lot on us then.
