Northern Conflict Mod Update

The Northern Conflict mod team is back today with their latest update. Here's what they had to say about it all:

The development of Northern Conflict is rushing forward, and in this HUGE update we will show you even more models to be included in the modification. All of the pictures are clickable to get a larger view.

The progress of the KNM Fridtjof Nansen has continued, the Norwegian frigate is now ingame but not 100% finished. Just a few things remain until the Norwegian forces can take control of the 7 seas. The Swedish counterpart to the Nansen frigate will be the HMS Visby corvette. It is smaller, but will still be a very deadly ship.

The main battle tank of Sweden, Norway and Denmark is all the German Leopard 2. While the Norwegians use the slightly older A4N version, Denmark uses the A5. Sweden has the Leopard 2S, which is considered as one of the best tanks in the world. You’ve already seen the Norwegian A4N, here’s the Danish Leopard 2A5. Read more...

Love the missile systems, the ships look awesome and the little personnel carrier looks unique. BTW what kind of countries armies are u planning to put in the mod?

I dont know what "kind" of armies they gonna have.But as far as I know they gonna have Sweden (sweden, yaaye it feels like home already ) Denmark and Norway as armies.

I cant wait to see Visby in action :) This mod looks good, very good! :rock:

Hi.

At the first release we will have Norway, Sweden and Denmark but who knows if we put in someone else later If you want to know anything else please post in our forums :)

You mean Battlefield 2142 Northern Strike? :hmm: I cant see the confusion...
This is war with Sweden, Denmark and Norway, Northern Strike is between PAC and EU. anyway....

It got to be huge maps if KNM Fridtjof Nansen and Visby gonna fit there

Saw once a documeteray about the swedish army using hovercrafts, that might be a nice addition as well

I think our reason for just having Sweden, Norway and Denmark is because they are all a part of scandinavia, and we have a close history to eachother. :)

actully denmark and sweden's army are more sophisticated and up to date then finlands.

The same goes for Norway. Denmark and Norway are basically at the same standards because they both have to be at NATO level.
