BattleDirector v1.6 Released

Sir. Elxx of the Sir. Community is back today with the latest release of his very useful utility BattleDirector. Here's what he had to say:

Description
BattleDirector is an application for Battlefield 2/2142 movie directors. It streamlines the moviemaking process by allowing filmmakers to go from BFR to AVI in simple steps. The simple GUI provides all the tools you need with one-click access.

What's New in 1.6?
• Added support for multiple cam tracks for each BFR
• Improved GameLogicInit.con backup/restore/repair
• BattleDirector now hides itself when BF2 is running, to reduce memory usage

I'm REALLY new to batledirector. from what i've read it seems you use the Battlerecorder right? or can you use the video's you take with fraps?

i'm still going to read more but this question i needed to know.

BattleDirector works for Battlefield 2 AND Battlefield 2142, as said on our filming page.

Essentially what the programs does is renders your BFR (Battlefield Recorder) Files, allowing you to edit them professionally and to have a smooth professional look to them instead of your usual poor quality jittery BFR's by themselves.

ok thanks! that what i was looking for, i saw it was for both 2142 and BF2 when i downloaded it. well, i'm gonna have to read more on it. looks really cool.

Heya, im new to battledirector.
All buttons on battledirector's "launcher" page are disabled, i cant click them. i cant start the filming, so what am i suppose to do? is there something else i have to do before i can start filming? :cry:
I dont really even understand how to record..
