I actually disagree with those saying BF2 is coming to its "end"...it looks to me like EA is trying to get every single dime out of the community especially after recent statistics show that BF2 has more players and more servers then its successor BF2142. With this unexpected, but not entirely unpredictable outcome between the two games, EA is going to market BF2 until theirs nothing left. Which may take longer than expected.

Wouldn't it be awesome if they also included a disc of most major modifications?
      Who are we kidding though?

Anyone else feel a little sad that this game is coming to an end?

That being said, many great mods are flourishing and some still yet to be released...

This new collection is set to release on March 13th in the US and March 16th in the UK for $39.95.
Wait, that means that it'll cost £20.50 over here?

                    Not bad.

I feel that it would be awesome news if they were all integrated together.

We would be seeing patch 2.0 come out that would make it so people would not have to run two different types of servers (SF and Vanilla).

I get so used to having a grapple hook, that when I am running around some maps, I see high points that I wish I could get too.

Agreed 100%, I soo hope they figure that out and implement it with another patch.

I haven't bought BF2 yet to this day. I'll wait until it gets cheaper. I've tryed my brothers BF2 copy, but that game is way too arcade for me. It's like DC with better graphics.

                                I'll buy BF2 when FH2 comes out.
