ranks really dont mean squat, creates stat padders and other various nubs in the game, i hope the ranking system is eliminated, and unlocks are just set via playing time.

I see... I have felt the wrath of cheaters (one hit kills)

I hope they are able to fix the time it takes to Verify Client Data or just do it once everytime you get on another server instead of after a new map is loaded.

it's the end of the ranking system period....i AM happy with it, can't take anymore karkand 24/7 or wake 24/7 servers...i hope this will bring ppl to the mods which are way better than vanilla anyway....

I think this is for a new patch that fixes prone-spam, adds fast-ropes to the blackhawk, increases the flight ceiling, adds a working SOFLAM, improves loading times, fixes wall "foot-glitching", opens the unlock system for use by modders, ends the ranking system so mods get played, and improves net-code and collusion meshes dramatically. Oh, and I think the booster packs and the expansion are going to be released for free as well.

I think I just wet myself. If it's anything like this, I see why madmanx79 over at EA UK forums says it'll be good news .. but bad news to some (because it's too late).

Why not just go play a diffrent game that doesnt have online stats then? Why bother getting BF2 int he first place? Thats like buying a Reliant Robin and then moaning cos its only got 3 wheels!
