Whether you were contractually bound to honor all 6 months is a technicality.

MYIS made big public announcments about this 100-clan hosting event and then reneg on many deals.

So what if you make sure 20id and HOT are still under your hosting. It's publicity.

Still wonder why people aren't so amazed by your new publicity stunt?

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank all teams and individuals who have already registered for the Total Gaming League. Below is an update concerning the status of the league and what's currently under development.

As you may have noticed, the forums are now up and operational; we encourage all users to register for a forums account and post any thoughts or questions you may have for our league admins. This afternoon, the rules and the server config file will be posted for your convenience. In addition, we're working on an admin listing to allow for easy communication between our player base and the admins of our league. We have setup a Teamspeak server for league use. The Week 1 schedule will be posted on Friday night. Any teams that sign up after Friday night will have until 12:00 AM EST (Midnight) on Sunday to register and still be scheduled for the first week of matches. If your team registers at any point in time after 12:00 AM EST (Midnight) on Sunday, you will have the ability to participate in a make up match against other teams in the same situation. The ability to take advantage of make up matches will always be available, so we encourage teams to signup at any time during the season.

We would also like to take this opportunity to officially announce the use of BF2142Pro. BF2142Pro is a small (19MB) competition mod designed by [20ID]ginc, who also created BF2Pro. The mod simply changes the spawn points available in each teams base to allow for more efficient spawning along with modifying the unlock system to create an even playing field. No changes were made to the core game features such as the weapons, vehicles, and map design.

So, if this league takes off, you will expand into QW and other Totalxxx.com games, right? I know that 20ID and HOT (not sure about HOT) retired from BF2, but don't you think BF2 would make it more popular just because more people and teams for that matter still play BF2?

It's not a flame just my curious side.
