Well EoD fans, this is a big day for us. We're finally truly entering our release cycle, with the first stages beyond us we're going to release a small "media preview build" to applicants. Please register your news site in our forums. Please do not apply if you do not have a valid news site or proper affiliation.
Members of news sites, members of respected mod teams, and of course all of our friends at Black Sands Studios are welcome to apply. The build will be privately released once we have enough applications in. Then on the prescribed date. We will have a big get-together/frag fest to enjoy and get the news guys some real gameplay to review.
In other news, with this update we are showing a first release map called Purple Haze. This Daily Advisor highlights two of the lighter pieces of armor found in EoD; and despite the relative scarcity of vehicles in the jungle, you will see these and more in EoD maps. However, as our fans know, don't expect vehicles everywhere, most of our maps are almost pure infantry combat.
Hopefully this has got everyone a little excited about EoD's future, and to keep up the hype, I have one more announcement. EoD2's team is now going to be committed to getting out updates to our fans more often. Stayed tuned for more to come.
