We have been sent some news recently from our member SuperRoach about the release of his video which covers all angles of the Battlefield 2 finals in the Australian ladders. Here's what he had to say:

This is the big one - the grand final for battlefield 2 in the Australian ladders. The best of the best, fighting for #1. It features excellent editing, Music synching, tense action and commentary from both sides, as well as Gamestah radio.

It also features a secondary commentary track, which is a in depth commentary by AEF:CG. It talks about the match, life in a clan and what is to come for the future. A great listen and bonus for the battlefield 2 community and other clanners, as well as casual players who want to see what makes a clan tick.

I cover every angle of the match, from being a spectator to being in the battlefield. Produced using battlecorder, Battledirector by the sir community + many more applications.

If theres enough interest in it, I'll make a streaming version along with the updated version in the future.

I decided against it for now though, because theres so much detail and everything in the picture that would be lost by streaming it lo bitrate and low res.

What was missed on the front page too was that this is the first battlefield 2 video to have a second audio track. This is mentioned on the information link, but this is the picture detailing it here:

Here's what SuperRoach said about the new version:

I've done a major rework of the look of the movie. I've:

- recoloured and tweaked the look of the entire video
- adjusted levels of audio in some places as per fan feedback
- put in more effects in some places
- tweaked the forums section so it doesn't slow the flow as much (check out the rocket through the window of the apc! lol)
- gone all out with compression quality. Although the filesize is the same, it has 2x more relative compression quality in it, the commentary track sounds richer, and the whole thing is a lot more enjoyable. Yay for xVID and KOEPI for giving me access to their bleeding edge encoders to be able to achieve this.

all in all, I've turned something I'm proud of, into a bit of a gem. Love it.
