You clearly have no idea how long this process takes or skill required do you ? Im tired of you constant flaming of the FH teams updates , sure you have your own opinion but just going on about how you want to play it now and crap but there mod is coming out when its done live with it .

and to say your a big fan when in the last page called one of the team a ' teaboy ' and insulted him makes you a complete idiot , go get grow up and then come back.

My view is as important as everyones else here and im sure i represent a large portion of FH fans who are higly anticipating the release and are fed up with the thousands of updates containing a few skins etc and with still no release date in sight, after a year of said updates it gets very tedious for us followers.

I read here allot and almost never post, Im with Bickus on this one.

have the FH devs told you to follow their mod..? no.
have you paid for this mod..? no.
so how about you grow up and stop acting like an ungrateful child.

i bet if the FH team wasent showing updates you would be in here crying and whining (like you are now..) how the FH team is neglecting the so called "fans" like yourself.

I dont think they "owe" me anything, im just commenting on the millions of updates over a year.

Mate - you can say anything you like so long as it is vaguely constructive. Constructive criticism is a good thing. If you dont like the way a map looks, or you think you see a historical inaccuracy, or you believe something is out of proportion - Then by all means, say your beef in a polite manner and people will respond in turn. Constantly complaining about the lack of release dates or how the pace of progress is not convenient to you isnt constructive - it helps noones and does little to bring any inspiration or encouragement to the people doing the hard work.

EDIT: perhaps, seeing as this topic is so important to you, starting a thread in the bf2 mods section would be a more mature way to discuss this rather than bringing it up every update? considering it has already been made perfectly clear many times that this is not the thread to discuss it?

1 - Every single mod out there is publishing updates now and again, and a rare few do it with the constant regularity and quality of FH.
Every monday we get an update, meaning the mod is going at a steady pace.

2 - All the other mods never publish their release date, unless they are about to release, sometimes only a month or a few weeks ahead. Then why is it that FH has to be any different? Why aren't you flaming all the other mods?

Are you an undercover dev from a competing mod, bent on hurting FH's image? Well, if you are, you're doing a lousy job...

Nah, the developers from other mods are generally very positive and supportive. They know how much work it is.

Just my opinion, but arguing with attention-hungry serial whiners just encourages them to complain more. Stop responding to them and they will get bored and go away.

For the FH dev team :

Take your time. What you have done and showed up to date (FH 1 & 2) is great. Quality is certainly be one of the best features of this mod.

All the negative complainers should try to do a mod by themselves just to see how your are right. Do they think you work 24/7 on that ? I am sure you have other things to do in life.

FH2 will redefine the pleasure the play BF2.

LOL - whats funny to me is over at BFP2 we've done just the opposite - we've slipped on stated release dates and dont put out many updates at all and people ***** just as much over there as they do here. Im therefore convinced it doesnt really matter what you do if you cant create millions of hours of content and bang out a mod instantly. I just keep my nose on the grindwheel and get as much done as I can every night while hoping other devs are out there doing the same. Best of luck to you guys - I'll be geeked when FH2 is available... though I'd probably be playing that instead of modding myself. :)

I know you guys on the FH team get this just as much as we do. I wish people would just understand that this takes time. We've been at making EoD for BF2 for the past 18 or 19 months.. (Ever since BF2 was released...actually started before it was released.) It doesn't happen overnight. We are close, but I can't give a percentage or a date either.. Other than, almost.

A mod like FH is just like EoD only they are really handicapped. While there is content within BF2 that EoD has been able to use in our Mod (some stuff anyway.. alot we've had to make or have loaned or made for us). Not so here for FH.

Anyway, my hat is off to the guys at FH. They have had to do almost EVERYTHING for their mod, save maybe some items from scratch. There are no buildings that they can really use. They are too modern. Statics, vehicles, soldier models, weapons, etc. It ALL has had to be done from scratch. The same things we have had to do over at EoD. A total conversion of the game. It is like making the game from scratch.

Keep in mind that big game software companies sometimes take YEARS to bring a game to the public. We are just modders working on mods in our spare time, learning the game engine, reverse engineering things, figuring out how it all works because the support isnt there to help us like it would be at the software company. Just figuring out how things work or how to do things takes time.

Everyone thinks you can wip a mod out in a few months. Well, maybe some modern day combat mods can that use the current content within BF2. We can't and FH can't either. (and I think their team is bigger than ours.)

Anyway, these guys will get done when they get done and not sooner. I for one will be around to play it. This because, I KNOW the WAIT will be WORTH it.
