I think I will install BF42 in the evening to fly some rounds in the Messerschmitt Bf 109


Where is the location of the Wolf servers? If they are in the US, I think I will get a problem with my ping....:hmm:

They are much better than any other skin I have ever seen in any other mod or retail game. But you can tell that to Rad, he will be very happy to hear your complaints.

Wolf is on the East Coast of the US I think. They seem to have many European players as well as North Americans, so maybe your ping will not be too bad, might as well try.

There are popular servers in Europe too--this page has a listing of some (but not all) of the active FH servers. Hslan and HomeOfTheDamnedPriests are both in Europe and have mainly players.

Obviously just a stab to get a rise of some kind, pay him no mind.

The Skins and models for this update make all other mods look silly.

Everyone in the mod scene is quite aware of who holds the pace of quality. It is and always has been FH.

Will FH2 expand into other fronts of WWII (i.e. Pacific, Eastern Europe, etc) or will it only cover the North African campaign (or Brit vs Germany).

I'm getting really concerned about BF2's mod community and playerbase--we just don't have the number of players (in mods) that BF1942 does. I'm worried that FH2, whenever its finally released, won't have the raw number of players that FH1 had and this might keep the devs from developing any new armies/features for the mod. Once the playerbase starts shrinking the devs might not be motivated to start including USA vs Japan, Germany Vs Russia, etc.

Including all that stuff for FH1 was alot easier sinceBF1942 had alot of it already in place, but BF2 is a completely different story. There's just so much stuff I miss from FH1 and I have a bad feeling that it won't end up in FH2 due to BF2's floundering mod interest. I sincerely hope that I'm wrong though.

Regardless, you FH2 guys have put out some HIGH QUALITY stuff already. Very nicely done.

Yes, Fishw0rk, North Africa is the theme of our first release, but we will expand to all the other campaigns in future releases.

More than 20.000 players, BF42 never had so successful statistics, and check the 2nd, Half Life/Counter Strike, an 8 years old game. BF2 has still lot of potential and life and the mods will try to help in this.
