Dawn Patrol v0.22 Client Released

As stated in yesterday's Dawn Patrol mod update, the team is back today with the release of the v0.22 client files. Here's what's new in this latest version if you didn't catch it before:

Playtest 0.22 includes 5 BF2 Map convertions by Pacman with full bot support. 8 Classic WW1 planes. 2 Fantasy planes. Remember - This is a playtest and not a full blown public beta. Some items etc are not yet 100%. Our new map team are hard at work producing some custom maps which will be in the Full release, which we hope to have ready in time for xmas.

It has come to light that some of you may experience a CTD during the intro videos (If you have disabled the bf2 movies, you won't get problem). There are various ways to fix this. The easiest, is to run this tiny fix we've created.

Dawn Patrol v0.22 Hotfix

Another way it to disable the bf2 movies by renaming the movies in mods/bf2/movies/ from .bik to .bak. Except for the menu.bik and menu_loggedin.bik. This will also stop all the movies from running when you launch bf2 or any other mod. It will not effect online play etc.

CTD ISSUE - Stop by our site if you experience a CTD. Hotfix is available. You won't get a problem if your bf2 movies are disabled.

This mod is lots of fun - the UFO's and santa sleigh's - nearly crashed laughing as they flew all over the map

Yep, thats the error, button in English from left: Cancel, Try Again, Continue.
I dont even have D-drive, help?

EDIT: Got it working, but still post for help cause it may come again...

Filecloud = Worst "free" file distrubuting thing ever

Filefront = Free and fast

I get 220-240KB/s on all good sites (eg Filefront - which is free) but Filecloud you get 60KB/s unless you pay. That's not right. Sort it out TBF2!

That's the most frutstrating thing you know, when mods distribute their content like this.

I get 220-240KB/s on all good sites (eg Filefront - which is free) but Filecloud you get 60KB/s unless you pay. That's not right. Sort it out TBF2!

You chose a West Coast server? But agreed, its very slow.

Hmm just downloaded and installed it. I deleted the version before and just installed the newer version. But for some reason all servers show up red and it tells me that I got the wrong version hmmm I also tried to copy and paste the hotfix version into the mod folder , but still the servers show up red.
At least the single player version works and its amazing

does this run the new bf2 patch? that could be the red problem. (If you got the patch and the game doesnt, or that you aint got the patch and the game does )

anyway, good with new maps but where are all the players

Im having the same issue and never bothered with the 1.41 patch so that may be it ill update and try again and check back.

UPDATE: Yeah that did it for me after updating to 1.41 most of the servers are white now...

This makes no sence did u install the new bf2 patch and it worked, but before it didnt work with Dawn Patrol? Cuz I aint got the new bf2 patch but the mod works fine(even if it wants to crash if I want to join a coop game) This is really.... wierd
