so what happend with the linux server files? I provide unranked server files on linux and I cant move on to 1.41.. this is NICE !! I really think that EA is doing this on porpuse.. to force BF2 players to switch to 2142 crap.

By the time you will have to wait for an incremental patch, you will possibly managed to download the patch several times

does it effect PoE2 at all? I did notice they threw in alittle add for renting 2142 servers :P

Why dont you ask the PoE team at their forums ? Well I can have a look for you since you're not able to find info for yourself

You lot are a load of winey babys. You ask for patches and support. you ask for them to actually 'fix the game' and the bugs in spesific and guess what? They DID.

Server numbers are down overall, half the servers havent been updated including official ones Jolt and the ones that have been updated are half full because of lag issues.

Time to buy Gears of War I guess because this is getting totaly redicilous.

Download the fusking patch and get on with your lifes, crying about how you have to download 512mb off the internet is god damn stupid!

My biggist thing, and I think its on the minds of alot of people.
Yeah, the CTD's where bad but.... Why did the performance drop soo much with the 1.2 patching? Why has it became the memory whore it is?
I was kind of upsetted when I spent $900 in computer upgrades to play BF2.... And oh wait..... 1.2 patch you need buy another gig of mem. To use your system with at lag. Cause with only a gig.... even on low settings.... It still get harddrive lag. Now what caused this? Really I could care less about CTD's I'd rather have it optimized game engine that mod's could further game dev with. See but it didn't play out like that. Which is fine. I wont be buying 2142 cause it doesn't appeal to me. If they could explain why the performance was lost I'b be content. But really I only just play PoE2. And when FH2 comes out I'll play that.

pfff yea...stupid update...why dont they stop with those and just give us one propper update that wuld last for a while, insted of shoving a new one down our throats every so often

and the game still crashes...when you wanna swich teams and the autobalance dosent let you...or when punkbuster decides u have a too high ping, it just throws you out of the game completely

If you mean the game CTD's when you switch and it doesnt let you and it CTD's when you get kicked for too high ping then disregard what im about to say.


That is a server side setting being kicked for high ping.

That's because you're an American and all the HTTP mirrors are in your country. The maximum download rate I was able to achieve was 50 kb/s +/- 5-10%. Anyway, I found a torrent on demonoid that works really well.
