lol what the hell, I was just flying a blackhawk and all of the sudden, a MEC shot an rpg at me and my heli just spinned out of controls. This is so cool! . I was there inside the chopper the whole time until it came crashing down.

              I think so.

Btw, am I the only one who think that the entry music sounds like Mission Impossible for a secs?

What do you mean by this? I asked if there is no new game modes or anything in singleplayer, not what are they.

How do you download your own map for this mod?

Oh, so its not this mod's maps, so I don't get this mod's factions or vehicles or game modes or anything?

If it not this mod's map, you won't get this mod 2 factions (British,Insurgents) , mod vehicles, and game modes would be just Conquest. However, for example, the effect such as, weapon's damage, Squad leader must request would still apply.

Re: Project Reality v0.4 Client Files Released

PR is a mixed bag for me, that is their is many many aspects i like in game, but dont think its gonna be my number 1 mod of choice to play, being a middle ground realism fan, ie more realism than bf2 but slightlly less than PR.

Main jip being I wanna game not look at a timer a lot. Realise the timers use, ie watch urself, and dont get shot, ensuring more care for your life, however this is kinda the reason why i never played games like cs, and search and destroy in CoD - I wanna be playing not spectating. I know, this is to try and enforce teamplay and use medics, but last night when playin for two hours, i got revived 3 times!!! Saying that during the course of that 3 hours I only revived a handful myself, as it was a bit risky stepping in too where somebody got popped, especially as they disappeared for getting shot in the head.

With the deadly weapons, i'd still like to see a 15sec timer perhaps, allowing you to spawn at a main base (not SL), and perhaps a by choice additional 15 second timer if you wish to stay dead, with a chance of getting revived, then allowing you to spawn on SL if you have had 30second death time.

Also miss, the ability to get off roofs as an infantryman - found myself traversing some roofs last night, only to find myself getting effectivelly stuck - quite frustrsting being stuck on 1 story roofs, knowing that to jump off, after the cumulitive effects from the couple of jumps to get down there would result in death or very poor health status. How about the odd discarded rope coils on some roofs, that could be used to get off them, or a bit of reduction in damage. Not unfeasable, that you could dreepy (scottish term for dangling by hands and letting urself go) from a fair hieght. Not done it for a while, but remenber from my youth, about 10 or 11, dreepying from 15 foot walls, without any other injury apart from stinging feet (or sore arse or knee on chin if you made an ar$e of it )

The likes i have, the deadly weapons and open sights rock, love the bullet cracks, you know when you have been spotted in no uncertain terms, the excellent maps, and some great teamplay at points. Loved getting picked up by a transport heli on the carrier and the pilot asking where i wanted to go, zooming in, dropping me off, then zipping away.

Liked the AT minimal rounds, no longer a weapon to be used for long range sniping, now ya keep it for appropriate threats.

Looking forward to playing extraction on Streets (Black Snads usi map?) server was always full last night, doh!

See the kit selection,by request aint working, was disapointed in this, plenty of occasions, i could have done with a heavy MG or sniper rifle, but no joy. Not overjoyed at this aspect in the whole, due to the reliance on the commander to be good, which is a hit or a miss scenario.

ABR was good fun, but every game just about ended up in Mexican stand off scenario, with not a lot of, if any base swapping.

To sum up, probably, give this a go, for a day or two, to try out more of the stuff, but the timer aspect will probably drag me back to PoE, and USI's next release.

However, credit where credit due, excellent work PR team.
