dont like this mock Irish tune or the video.
but i do think its inportant to remember the ppl from all sides in WWI & WWII.
my gr8 grand dad and grand dad were in the 1st world war.
and when WWII broke out my grand dad and his 6 brothers were there right from the start.
but they didnt fight for some gr8 cause it was because the army was one of the only jobs going.
2 of the brothers were killed in the fighting in N,Africa .
and the rest went on right up untill the end of the war.
in short i dont need a soung or some day to remember what happened .
what they have done and the hardships of these wars .
it is always with me no matter where i am what im doing or what day it happens to be.

Says it all.

Thanks to my departed Father who fought in the Asian theater and came home from WWII. Thanks to his brother, my departed Uncle who was captured at Omaha Beach and lived through the German POW camp. Thanks for the sacrifices.

The men and women of the armed services are a very special breed.
There should be more people in the world like these individuals.
Alot of folks are so preoccupied with themselves ,that they will never understand the concept of how one person can put their life on the line for a total stranger somewhere far away.
It's born and bred into the people of freedom loving nations around the globe.

My fathers uncle served in WWII. Died by being tortured in Singapore. That memory of a family member and the last post song really is something.

Theres nothing I can say to show my real appreciation for our armed services.

My thoughts and thanks go out to all members of the military, for going through times that would break most people.

Thanks to all that served in past and present wars for peace and freedom. To the people who served in WWI ending on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 to current wars for peace and freedom. Freedom is not free.
