aw man, one of my favourite things about the DC gunship was that you could pack almost a dozen people in the back of that thing, all bouncing around until someone dropped the ramp and we all got sucked out.

It's not possible with the BF2 engine to do that stuff.
We did tried, but it just keeps things crashing over and over.

But believe it is fun to fly.
The moment I spotted him on our forum I dropped it ingame, into Gazala, where it belongs.
I just love the look of it and I really needed to make a good screenshot of it to show the other devs.
Well, as you can see i made some more, and the team made a news topic with it so we could give you some more info about this big mumma.

If you do that you will crash indeed.
It's not the undestructible thing from DCom anymore.

Awesome looking model. That thing is a beast! What uses will it have besides its offensive and transport capabilities? Will it be able to transport vehicles? Will it be a roaming spawnpoint like in BF42 and Vietnam? Again, looks amazing.

Now, to the people who can't wait to play this mod. Try playing some of the other mods while you wait FFS! You people are one of the main reasons mods die so quickly. Stop oogling over cool PotD's from mods not even released yet and try playing something other than vanilla BF2. Its free! Its different! Its actually better than the **** you're playing now (BF2)!!!
Unless you people like the same old crap over and over for a year straight (reminds me of a retard bouncing a ball against the wall endlessly). I've been playing POE2 since it came out (Which was a while ago) and have only recently retreated back to vBF2 because the number of people who play from 3am to 6am have dwindled (Though the days and evenings are still packed with people).
Reg BF2 is a nightmare compared to POE2. You'd have to play it to see it. So if you're sick of waiting....try out something that is already here! If you like reg BF2 better than POE, you have problems and probably won't like any mod that comes out, so give up now. This is a call to arms, support the mods by playing them and in turn support the community.
BTW, Joker will probably be playing D-Con when it comes out so ignore him, he's a child.

For once im actually not going to badmouth this mod/update, instead im going to say this is the best model DCon has. It looks FLAWLESS and doesnt look like 1942 graphics. Good work

Looks fantastic, but since your maps are presumably much bigger than DC's is there any chance of seeing it on more maps than Gazala? IMO it was one of the most intresting a unique weapons in DC, but unfortunatly was bogged down in a kind of slow, unoriginal map.

Best hope you have some F-16 wingmen near by to help cover you while you're flying that tub. Looks outstanding though, can't wait to get my hands on the 105mm in it.

looks very nice.. In Dc this bird was wounderful to use on maps like gazala.. you could really go to work on the ground units with a decent team onboard.

I really hope it works the same if so cant wait to fly it
