    Nations at War Mod Update

The Nations at War mod has an announcement to make today regarding their mod status. Here's what they had to say:
This is just to let the community know that the Nations at War Mod have succeeded from the NAW Tournament. We are now at WWW.NAWMOD.COM

We the mod creators felt that we could do the public a better service by concentrating on content for public consumption rather than catering to a tournament. Therefore players can now expect a single player patch and more content designed for public play rather than tournament. WWW.NATIONS-AT-WAR.COM at the moment will redirect to WWW.NAWMOD.COM until the domain owner decides to point it elsewhere. Thank you for your support.

imo they need to do much much less content and concentrate on quality. When a release includes 70+ maps and a ridiculous number of new textures and models not with any overall purpose in mind but for the hell of it, it really is a recipe for disaster
they need to choose one theatre only (preferably something that hasnt been done well such as Iraqi city or Chechen mountain), a preferred battleground (preferably totally urban but aircraft friendly), a maximum of 4 armies to concentrate on, 10 high quality maps and a unique gameplay feature (for me that would definitely be 2 man vehicles only - tanks, apcs, attack helis, jets - to the total exclusion of one-man-pwn-mobiles). The mod needs focus - less is more

Why would you want just one theater? That gets boring. Less maps, I agree, but I like the variety. Good idea about focusing on the mod.
