They're going to show a map that's something like "the Battle of Ia Drang Day 2: LZ Albany" or something like that. It's a map report.

IMO:

"We have had reports that the Platoon suspected to have been killed in action have in part, survived"


I think this means due to the lack of updates, some people might have thought the mod wasn't doing so well, but, in fact, is alive and kickin!

"We recieved a very distorted radio at approximately 09:00 hours this morning"

I think this means the testers have just recieved the 0.9 test build.

"A reporter for the Daily Adviser who has been reported missing presumed dead is now also suspected to be alive and with the missing platoon. Search and Rescue is being organized, however, we have a location of around 150 square miles where they could be."


I think this means the Daily Advisor updates are on the way

"The offensive yesterday has left us with a depleted air force for at least a few days while repairs are carried out."


I think this means they are kinda short in the work force, and might need some help in some area, not exactly sure.

"It looks like they might have to make it on their own......"


And lastly (phew!), I think this means the dev teams just needs us to be just a little more patient, and when it gets here, we'll be in for quite a treat!
