Start up Desert Combat, load Gazala and see why it reminds me more of Desert Combat then BF1942.

    Sheesh.

Sorry to be mean but I just had a bad experience at the Mens Warehouse.
Actually, I was agreeing with you, I was saying that it reminded me more of DC rather than BF1942 (just because I played much more DC than 1942). Obviously, you didn't get MY joke.

He he, No we use a program called "Port maps and models from DC to BF2 v1.21a".
Dont you have it to, ww2freak? Thought everyone had that tool on their HD. Infact it ships with the retail-version of BF2. LOL

I did and I was spoken to in a very stern manner. I consider myself properly stowed away at this point.

The buildings in just about every shot look out of scale and the texture work looks really bland. The lighting seems to be way off as well. Why is it that it seems a single texture was used on an entire building?

I hope you recognize parts of Gazala from the pics and that you like the screens.
I'm off to the editor to work on the maps again.
Hope to see you all in game soon!

It was lonely without your sunshine Joker, MOD updates just arent the same without your opinions. Besides the fact, I happen to totaly disagree with you as always.

                              Doorstop,

I was curious to know if you guys are making this with competition in mind?

DC enjoyed many seasons in CAL and TWL and it helped the mod immensely in it's popularity because hardcore gamers (clan members) were playing it 24/7.

I completely agree with you Jaws, My clan couldnt get enough of DC competition. We were all hoping to get the same from BF2. Some of our guys like it, not me really.

We hope to get as much feedback as possible (constructive, lol) from people about what we can do to make it a great competition mod.

We are getting it as close to the original as we can, with our own flair in there as well. If the community sticks with it and helps us develop it, just like we did with DC, it should run a similar course.
