There is a new update posted today over at the Dawn Patrol mod website. The mod is in need of some more members. Take a look:

Full Public Release requires help - Skinners / Mappers
We now have all the planes for first release built and ingame along with 4 bare basic map layouts but we need help to finish the skins and maps. We're also looking for any additional talented modders. You can contact me directly on:

It is great fun. I have members in the clan that hate flying in bf2 for one reason or another yet they love it in this game.

Its indeed a lot of fun , even if you dont have a joystick. The map is fun as well ,because you can fly through all those canyons in the desert or not try to crash against the damm

Plus, this has 32 singleplayer. Awesome for the period between when there are and aren't servers. The only one I see is some "newer" version than I have, most likely .2 of DP.

we have a 24/7 dawn patrol server, however we are testers for it and we spend about an hour testing the new stuf then revert the sever back
but this mod does rock

It's really nice but the power of the MGs needs to be increased, make them less accurate to balance things out. And a two seater with rear gunner will be cool as well.

Yep rear gunner sound like an idea. But I think it looks like they got something like that already. Just not in the game yet, but Im sure on the loading screen of Air kubra damm there is like the view of the rear gunner in flight. But maybe im wrong
