BF2 is pretty much dead now. Too late guys, sorry. At least you can play against the devs of other mods like Ziggy whose own mod has pretty much become Gilligans Island in terms of population.

i dont believe BF2 is dead, i think that alot of people are just waiting for FH2 to come out before they reinstall it. At least thats what im doing, that and i lost my BF2 DVD so im gonna have to order a 13$ replacement from EA

Im doing the exact same thing im waiting on FH2 to come out before i reinstall bf2 (i just got a new HD and cant be arsed reinstalling it).

BTW dont buy the bf2 disc again download an image file of the game of the net and use your original cd-key your not breaking any copyright laws by doing that. You actually paid for a license to play bf2 when you baught the game it dosnt matter were you get the game from youve paid for you lisence to play it. You should be able to find a image file on bittorrent somewere just dont apply cracks or out and make sure the version you download isnt pre-cracked. Then just burn the image file and use it as normal or mount the image file useing daemon tools so you can play.

BF2 is no where dead. BF2142 is going to be dead a lot sooner than BF2 will be. On top of that (unfortunately - thanks EA) there are going to be better games than than BF soon, but BF2 is still running strong, my friend.

Whatever, I wont play Bf 2124 or whatever its called anyway, since I dont like any future "starwars like stuff " in games. I think there are several mods out for BF2 which look much better than 2124 and FH2 is one of them. Im sure it will be awesome :)

looking great guys. The cloth tents and the wagon covers look very top notch, something that most ppl don't realize the difficulty in creating. I really cant wait to check out FH2 (and of course dcon ; ) . 2142... hmm, i might buy it when FirstStrike releases their mod

I only see like 6k playing BF2.142 which sucks for a release day.

1942 still has over 2k playing

Back on topic, FH looks awesome and while I don't like too much realism, I have always enjoyed FH.
