Dawn Patrol Mod Update

There has been a new update posted today over at the Dawn Patrol mod website. Here's what they had to say:

Play Test Release - Initial feedback from community has been great, it will be interesting to see once mod news is picked up by other bf2 sites.

Play Test V0.2 - This will be available shortly. It will address some issues and also add 2 more WW1 Planes. Sopwith Triplane and Fokker D8.

Hosting - We have been approached by a up and coming site with regards to hosting our site and a forum etc. More news on that once we're all set up.

Dev Team - We are looking to recruit staff, all areas of modding are required especially in mapping area. We have no problem with guys working for other mods or who only have a little time to dedicate, as long as we know.

Community Contributions - Dawn Patrol isn't just about WW1, we are looking to have planes from all era's and more. Anyone with any plane models no longer being use (ie bf42) is invited to contribute to mod.

Hey guys,
Loved the playtest.
I'd love to help, I'm not an amazing coder, and not very advanced. I work on my own personal mods, but I'd love to help in anyway possible. If you have any non-cruel coding that you would like off your backs because you want to spend time on bigger projects, I'm your man.
I could also do some movies, intro, etc. for your mod, anything to help.

Nice news, good to hear that. I love the small Demo as well and think it has very high potential.

One idea I had for this mod, would be maybe a map with only little birds little helicopters in it. No rockets just machine guns attached to it:

still loving this MOD. ina full server its just hectic but so adictive, you can't leave. Even plane haters in my clan love how easy it is to fly yet hard to master. Flying in formation to attack is probably one of the best things about it.

If you need a map then i will give it a go. I have made Two Bf2 maps and One POE2 map, If you want to check out the maps I have made you can find them at http://www.clanptg.com/downloads

Number 1 was my first map, 2 was second and 3 was latest.
