The Ump is the worst of the new weapons imo aswell. The Galil,Desert Eagle,Glock, Sig, and Uzi all look very good. Few minor hand placements glitches and some clipping with the DE, but not bad overall. Another complaint would have to be the sound. The weapons have no personality to them. Give the DE a good crack with a huge muzzle flash.

i could onley join one the other 2 had maps i had not got

Even after I downloaded the map pack, most of the servers were still red, but I could still join and play them fine. Try joining a red server, it might work.

does anyone find it hard flying the helis very hard to control
still havent seen the nuke wat map it on
tryed joinning ones that are red i need the maps

Nuke bomber is on gazala at the old arifield. The side that caps the flag will spawn a nuke bumber.

Alright you guys, first post is updated again with our mirrors.

Turns out Filecloud had a hardware problem and the team was over in Vegas so weren't able to fix it right away. Sent them an email though and it's working again. Sorry for the delay!

Just looking at and the work they have accomplished you can tell that this mod has the potential to be superb but by going down the quantity over quality route they have killed NAW which is a terrible pity
the work lacks focus and purpose, the team really needs some critical external direction if they aim to become successful

4.0 is a big improvement over 3.9. Unfortunately they have again had problems with the rollout - but you gotta remember there are only a few devs and despite testing some things do go wrong.

Lucky they are dedicated to fixing the problem and you should see a patch soon.

I installed it over my 3.9 and have had no problems joining servers or getting the red server indication. A few have had this problem and you should still be able to join eventhough it is red - unless of course you do not have the map. The sequence for install if you choose to try all the other maps is mappack 1, 2, 3 and then 4. If you installed 4 first then you will need to reinstall it after the 1-3 mappacks because it fixes some of the problem 1-3 have with 4.0. Give it a week and you will see a more sound map rotation when the server hosts figure out what the best maps are - I personally think Map pack 4.0 is enough.

Nuke is on Gazala at the North Airfield. It will kill you if you are too close when you drop it and don;t hit th eburners to get away.

Like all mods, there are some things that need work, but this is a SOLID improvement and very FUN. If you don;t like it fine, but don't bash - offer your opinion please, but if you bash i sure hope you are building a MOD yourself and I hope it is perfect. Eveyone likes different things, go play what you like/

If you have played DC before, then you should have no probs with the helos. They are supposed to be touchy cause helos are supposed to be very maneuverable - except the biggies like the Hind or Mi-28 or Black hawk.

Still not quite DC but damn closest Mod to them yet. I love the new little-birds.

Please dont nerf the Helos - it should take a little skill to fly them. BF2 helos are so easy my 90 year old Grandpa can fly them even after drinking a 5th of Jack.:laugh2:

the helis are fun but a bit harder to fly just have to learn to fly them better
yesterday i had a blast some other guy and myself trying to gun each other down we were all over the place trying to control them thats what made it real fun
just glad no one was in the heii as i crashed a few times lol
once more servers are running this mod it will be cool

still waiting to see this nuke going of
i should be able to get more time this week to try this mod out

gotta say, the ammount of servers on NAW is poor therfore hardly anyone is gunna see that nuke bomber, which makes it not vury good. if i can get in a server with more than 0 people it might help but there aint none I just waited 6 hours to download this thing to find out i needed the map pack, so i download the map pack which is as big as the damn game, another 6 hour wait wonderfull.

well if its the same gazala from the earlier released then it should look great, they did a wonderfull job on it and was really fun to play.

My only gripe was that you needed medium settings to play and so it was extremely laggy for me, hopefully they have solved this...


This download of the map pack 4 is taking forever, its been 2 hours and I still have 2+ hours left to download, looks like I wont be playing this tonight


I wish you could download the maps individually because Gazala is the only map Im interested in but I haver to DL this huge map pack....
