ModLight: Operation Peacekeeper

Posted over on the Battlefield Portal is the first mod in the series of ModLights that EA will hold. The first mod up is the Operation Peacekeeper mod. Here's what they had to say:

Today we are ModLighting the great work of the Operation Peace Keeper mod team. They have come together not only as team members but as a group of friends to make a Battlefield 2 mod that appeals to the full range of Battlefield players. Their mod brings the German and Serbian armies into the world of Battlefield 2 using detailed vehicles and soldiers placed in well thought out maps to create a full play experience. Though the overall kits on each side are symmetrical on the design level all the weapons are distinct in their feel nd presentation. My personal favorite is their MP5SD6 as it delivers a very stealthy and deadly feel to a soldier. The same distinction and personality can be found in their vehicle design. Read more...

OPK is my favorite mod, over all the game is a lot of fun. Set up a 24/7 borders infiltration server and I'm happy. The only problem is I find that people are not playing it as much. As for the weapons, not only is the MP5SD6 a great weapon, but along with them both support machine guns have a really nice feel to them. They will mow people down, therefore causing people to take cover when they are fired. That's something niether vanilla or any other Bf2 mod that I've played has been able to do well. It's an awesome mod and I hope people will begin to realize that.

hey! didnt you just quoted the complete 'review'??

this 'ModLight' review, has nothing to do with a review.
its a shame the even try to call it a review!

Next to that, wasnt the modlight MORE than just a few words and 2 images?
no word about that on the modlight page.

If i would have to give a verdict on EA's attempts on a review : a marginal 4 out of ten. - weak
My verdict on the OPKMod will be around a FAT 8+

well, lets hope they wont keep delivering such marginal modlights again.

OPK is a great MOD, and my favorite overall so far that I have played for BF2.
