Point of Existence 2 v1.1.5 Patch Coming Soon

The guys from the Point of Existence 2 mod are happy to announce today that their v1.1.5 patch for the mod is coming out very soon! Here's what they had to say:

It’s time to let everyone know that POE:2 beta version 1.1.5 is ready for release. The time and effort that has gone into making this patch is for the love of the game and to provide a better gaming experience to our fans. We are in the midst of uploading our patches to a handful of mirrors and will add to the download page more links as they are reported to us.

Release Dates:

Server Patches (Linux & Windows): 3:00 pm Eastern ~ Thursday 10/12/06

Client Patch: 1:00 pm Eastern ~ Friday 10/13/06

Another news post on Thursday evening will show more detail and the change log of what’s included in POE:2 version 1.1.5.

The patch will be a huge 51meg for the stand alone server & the client patch. We were lucky enough to get a license to use PocketSoft - which allows us to make our patches very small. The technology looks at the files that were changed and puts them into the patch - no need to redownload stuff that wasn't changed!:-). Only time we will provide a full download install is for the major full point releases - at the same time we will also provide incrementals so that it's easier on our gaming community. Hope that helps. We hope you enjoy the tweaks and improvements that have been added.

51 megs!!! WoW thats great!
I got more room for the other mod I want to get come saturday.
So yeah.. the last mod I just installed is getting hit with the recycle bin.

Buying 10 ft posts = 1 hour $40

Buying pieces of fencing = 1 hour $250

re-doing your front porch = 8 hours $350

An early winter storm hitting on the weekend you planned to do all this and giving you a legitimate reason to justify to the wife why you put it off another week thus freeing up several hours to check out the new POE patch and RC mod. = Timeless and Priceless!

Good thing you deleted that other mod to make room for the 51megs. Lets be honest there Doctor Brown nose, you probably have terrabytes of raid space on your system. I can only imagine the money you save not taking girls out, it must be wonderfull.
