So then you have Rising Conflicts, another mod that took over a year and what do we see for their pre-release screenshots? Nearly stock looking BF2 shots with new skins for the two soldiers stabbing each other in the butt with the knife..yeah real impressive shots fellas. :laugh:

I share your dismay in the mod teams Dronetek, I think a lot of the work is subpar because most of these guys are probably 14-17 yr olds with little to no experience. :cry:

The video only shows a very small amount of content. We have a hell of a lot more in the public build and even more in development..
Yes we have bf2 stuff in the game but thats mainly for our BOAN army and tweaked heavly. IDF and USMC is almost 100% new content, that we hope u all enjoy.



As for experience of the RC mod team, well it's made up of the old DCX mod team plus a few ex Desertcombat and Desertcombat-Final members like myself and boobs mcgee, throw that togther with many experts in there chosen field and u have a very experienced and talented team.


That said your entitled to your opinion weather it negative or positive.

And it is really nice when OTHER MOD DEVS say "LOOKS GREAT, Can't wait to try it!"
they know what goes into modding and making this a great community

And i just cant wait for FH2 :evil:

I no how many many hours goes into creating a mod and how much stress it creates..I to salute all the other mod teams no matter how big or small :salute:

WOOH! NICE WORK, need good mods out now to keep bf2 going so not to be outdone by 2142 (personally i think 2142 is good but just isnt BF2!)

Its true what they say, 2142 is doing the same thing to bf2 as veitnam did to 1942, theres just no WOW factor

I hope all these devs give us old school DC,DCF, and DCX guys another crack at Basras Edge......PLEASE!!!! Or at least some sort of something close maybe,someday,.........Ahh..... the old "Hall of Slain" server days.....nights,weeks,months,years....

I think the only corilation to DC is that we have *some* developers who worked on DC, DC-Final and DCX.

Because these are the guys who did DCX and some that worked on DCF. They have more experience than most other BF2 mods and are on par with FH and PoE. These guys are the only thing left of the "DC" guys from 1942 and they are making a mod called RC. I guess if they had called it "DC" then perhaps they would get the respect they actually earned.

Havock, you're a talking head so go sit in the corner and have some Koolaid son. I've specifically addressed in my post why I dislike POE 2. My criticism towards RC was because of the screenshots they released to the public which portrayed mainly vanilla BF2 material. Thats why I gave them **** for it but I will reserve final judgement until I've played it and then give a nice long review of it in this or another RC thread. I don't know what Casper is harping on about RC being the "real" DC continuation because even if RC has a few ex-DC guys working on it, the ones worth their salt are already in the game industry and not making mods.

So we progress from bashing vanilla bf2,Special Forces,The booster packs,all the mods and I cannot wait to see all the bashing of BF2142......its going to be bash-a-rific!!!
