The team behind the Battlefield Podcast site have released episode 27 of their series today. This new episode includes chatter about Battlefield 2142. Here's what they had to say:
The long awaited day has arrived. The Battlefield 2142 demo has been released and we are taking it through its paces. We have had to fasten our safety belt on our chairs for fear of getting blown out of our seats from what we have seen so far! DICE has really delivered the goods with this one. We will bring you all of our thoughts and insights into the demo and report on what the community's feedback is so far. And we even has an exclusive video of our podcast crew testing the demo out in our new 2142 demo server! We are pleased to announce two new Battlefield Podcast Listener Giveaways, we're giving away ten of the new and super cool Zboard Battlefield 2142 keysets, and five copy's per day of the the full release version of Battlefield 2142 for the next ten days! We cover the official announcement of Electronic Arts acquires Digital Illusions (DICE), and cover the news about DICE Canada closing it''s doors.
