Operation Peacekeeper Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Operation Peacekeeper mod website about a community event they will be holding. Take a look:

Interest in us has died down for a long time, but now we are back again.

Caused from a forum discussion, an OPK vs. Community event will take place every Friday, where you can challenge us. There you may kick the Devs and Betas asses and show how well YOU play OPK. But be beware of the Developers, they also hit sth./sb., well from time to time though. Event starts at 8 pm (CET), open end at Funhouse Server (85.10.240.100:16567)!

Each map will be played once in a rotation circle, except Battle of Bogovina, because some users currently have problems with it. Last friday many players joined us at the servers, who hopefully had as much fun as we did.

This mod deserves much more of the attention that it has lost to POE2.I have nothing against POE2.It also is a very good mod and i enjoy playing it but i enjoy this mod greatly also and it is sad to have seen so many "leave" the mod for POE2 however temporary.keep up the good work guys!!

The mod is ok. I don't think PoE has anything to do with how little people play OPK as I remember before PoE came out it was slim pickings to find a populated server for OPK. The mods not bad, but it did not do anything for me.

I think the mod community has too many mods all doing the same thing. There should be some consolidation to help mods get better, stronger, and come out faster.

opk and poe tried to work together but they didnt find a sollution for all things ... thats one of the rumors between OPK and pOE ... well, i like opk more then poe - poe got to much bugs and isnt that realistic and quality as opk is ... i like poe also, but opk is just better
