Blackbrird, from the Conflict Canada mod team, has sent us a ton of new ingame screenshots, along with some new information. Take a look:

Hey Battlefield 2 fans and community!

This is Shady co-leader of the Conflict Canada Mod. We return this week with update number 6. We can't wait to show you the goodies we have this week. So without further delay our mod team would like to show you all we have done to date.

Please note that these maps are WIPs but i thought it would be good to show what the maps are looking like at this moment.

That concludes our media release number 6. We appreciate your reading this, I really hope you enjoyed all the content we have showed you today. We have put in days of time and hard work to bring the mod up to its current state. I would also like to add that we have a web site up and running here. Everyone at CC would like to encourage the community to come to our forums and chat it up with us. We are always around and we will gladly answer questions and take suggestions. We also have many positions open still. These positions include:

-UV Mappers

Glad to see you guys getting stuff out there again, I had feared this mod had died but it appears not. I'm really looking forward too it. Hope to see a release soon :)

I hate the screenies... they look like they've been sharpened with PS or something :S.

Anyway, the mod sounds awesome.. I am Canadian myself(pround to be one) and I hope you do not let it die and keep it going.

The story is completely retarded (what was the author smoking at the time hehe) but I like to see the smaller countries getting some recognition in the modding theatre. Sweden/Norway had a great mod with Silent Heroes on BF1942. Hope you guys can do the same for Canada.

and yea i do agree the story is a bit lame we are in the mitis of comming up with a new story line. so cheack back in a day or 2 for the new story.

Militarily (and population wise) we are relatively small by comparison to other countries. Keep up the good work!

The C7A1 looks good (is it a c8?). the uniforms are good as well. canadian forces myself. afew problems though. the C9A1 is not a heavy assault weapon, its a light machine gun, typically available to every squad. C6A1 might be what your thinking of. the C8A1 is a carbine normally used by armoured units and NCOs from sergeant and up, not special forces. JTF2 actually use international weapons systems depending on preference or situation. one other thing, flags are switched from the bright red and white to camoflauged dark green to lighter green (forest), grey to lighter grey (arctic), etc, in tactical situations. thank god for velcro, if our uniforms werent 20% velcro i could never pretend to be a major when i want to buy cheap booze. I am not saying i dont like this mod, i actually cant wait for the release. Just do it right and make us look good.

Edit: Detrux, get Battlefield Pirates 2 out already, been waiting for months haha.
