[TW]Airborne has once again contacted us with an update on the Total War POE2 tournament. Sign ups for the tournament are now officialy open. Take a look:

As of 1900 hours EST Aug 28 2006 Total War POE2 division sign ups will open!
{23GB}COL.RockCrusher has taken command of the German armies 23rd Gebirgsjager Battalion, and [2UKR]COL.Kolhozik has taken command of the Ukrainian armies 2nd Ukrainian Regiment. Both unit commanders have reported to me that they are ready to assign new troops to their units.
You may be asking yourself what is Total War, in short Total War is a war simulation that uses the Point of Existence mod for BF2. Each campaign new officers are picked to lead their units in a simulated war over 10 to 12 weeks. We play 12 hour battles; no you don't have to play the whole 12 hours. You can play as little or as much as you like. The reason we have 12 hour battles is to have members from all over the world and by setting battles up like this it gives everyone a chance to play together as a team (Leave no man behind).
Along with having members from all over the world we also have military members from all over the world coving both active duty and reserve forces and all branches of service, what this means is we force team work and use real military tactics. Smacktards will not last long in the tournament.
One of the best things about the tournament is at the end of each campaign new leadership is picked for the next campaign. This means you don't always have the same officers and it makes each campaign its own challenge.
So if you are looking for a place to play POE2 the way it was meant to be played and where team work means just that, then maybe Total War is the place for you.
