I will wait until the general release of the mod. I do look forward to it.

The passwording and limited releases is unnecessary as the game should be availble to all who wants it.

Torrent finished. I too am seeding right now @ 40kb/s

Oh, btw, use the torrent guys. My download rate was over 250 kb/s for most of the time. It took approximately 1h 22m for the download to complete. Using the torrent will give you much faster speeds and will reduce the load on the FTP servers provided.

Damn you! I had like an average of 30 kb per sec and it took me 12 hours to download the file! But w/e, I have it, and PoE2 glory days are only a day away.

Other groups would be wise to take notes from POE and FH, "experience trumps everything except imagination". Forgot where that quote came from.

i know i've played a little POE for vietnam heheheh and it was very good, but this time they really seem to have outdone themselves :|

Nobody ever brute forced it. People really don't understand the mathematics of it. It simply cant be done, lol. It would take several years.

If it was really so insecure that it could be brute forced in a few hours, do you people think WinRar would even bother having a password feature?

Ill till you whats Insane and in bad taste, you bringing that convo to a broader public! Its like you posted it to tarnish Hypernia and POE:2 name!

While we both worked long and hard to give you, the fans base a free mod.
And thats how you thank us.

I would say that most MOD teams are dreaming of a KAOS studios end result, and we get a great free MOD in the meantime. Sounds like a win win for both sides to me. LEts be honest though, most arent doing it simply as a donation of good faith to the fans.

I dont see any problem with that anyways, we are capatilists arent we? Well, not all of us, but most.

I got around 500k DL and 700K upload on the torrent. Why Give fileplanet your money? Just get a better connection speed.

The DL speeds from most of those links arent much faster, and probably wont help him much. Get a better connection is your best bet, and leave it open while you sleep.

I think im gonna wait for the regular client. My torrent says its gonna take 4 days to DL. And im not gonna wait that long...whats the point of a torrent if it takes that long?

Yeah, the PoE team prolly assume's everyone in the world is trying to crack there passworded file. It's really just amatter of time b4 it cracked. The question is.... Will it get cracked b4 the password is released tommarrow?

Well son, then my suggestion is you erase your passworded file and wait to download the classic file at saturday.

Sheeeesh, we try to deliver mods with the best systems for users and some persons still need to complain about it

Good point LOBO. Its by far the smartest way to release a product early. All MOD groups should follow this path, if they havent already.

In the long run, it actually helps with DLs being clogged, since the Freak Junkies get the jump on the general crowd that doesnt follow the progress moment to moment. DCON will do it the same way, it doesnt make any sense not to.
