Also, we’d like to announce that will be using Alternative Battlefield Ranking starting after the first release, but we will be heavily modifying it to our own needs to focus much more on teamplay and unlocks, to provide a better ingame experience working with other players, and provide players a greater selection of weapons to choose from. Our art director, Mike Perry, has been hard at work creating some amazing pen and ink artwork of the characters for use within the BFHQ

A pirates BFHQ? Yey!
What could we expect as awards? Bottles of rum, or a golden enterhook?

I beleive that a full ranking system will be implimented in time, as for awards well i some how get the feeling we don't have a clue at the moment. Its likely that we'll be asking the Beta Testers and Community on our forums for suggestions on this, maybe even make it into a compition, but its unlikely to be implimented till the 2nd public release (1st is what we're doing now, 2nd Map Pack, 3rd Possibly ranking i think anyway)

On the note of compiticians i've noticed you've got a fair artists community here. And we're well running basically an art compitician atm if any of them want to pop on to our forums and take part.
