Is this information on EA US or EA UK yet? Or has it been confirmed by Colin yet? I wouldn't be so sure if it's just the Spain site, they might have got there wires crossed, or might be plain wrong.

Technically, this announcement hasn't even been made, because we've heard nothing from Colin Clarke who 'announced' the announcement.

Hear hear. Are we still awaiting an announcement or was that it? Am I meant to be pleastantly surprised they announced it on the EA Spain site, probably one of the lesser used BF2 domains? www.battlefield2.com is yet to be updated; are they just being half-assed as usual?

Are the helicopters hitboxes fixed?

there were no hitbox problems, if your talking about tvs going threw choppers thats about netcode and if the hit registers

Damn, I just wish EA had fixed the whiny b1tches glitch that's taken over this thread. Maybe they'll nerf the whiny bitches in the next patch forcing them all to go back to CS where they belong. No matter what EA fixes, the vocal part of the community will still be in here crying about something else. Looking forward to 1.4 and 2142.

and to the person who talked about "at rockets no reloading, DAO having endless reload, and GL not doing anything" ummm.....it must be just you thats why there nto fixing it .

I ahve never nto had my at rockets not reload, i hav never had the DAO endloessly reload, and the GL works just as it did in 1.0. So i dunno what your compaling about.

I see missiles go through choppers and Vodniks in Singleplayer all the time, so ick-snay on the netcode-ay.

It has to do with the materials specified and what the collision boxes cover. Since soldiers have collision physics and soldiers go in vehicles, there have to be holes in the vehicle collision boxes.
