You wan't the patch out or not? Sheesh!

Yes we want it out but we don't want another 1.3. The beta opportunity was great but we want to test any changes to 1.4 in a beta first (as a beta is intended in the first place). So if there are some bigger changes to 1.4 and this announcement tells us something about a 1.4 full beeing released then there went something wrong and the betas were just a big marketing joke.

This is not whining this is collecting the facts.

You people are never happy. I mean if they get a quick fix out you'll whine that the full patch is not out yet and if they take their time you whine that its' not out yet, and yet agian if they release it you whine about it being rushed!? MAKE UP YOUR FRIGGEN MIND!

ANyway I hope they do somthing totaly unexpected like say announce a free addon that will be avalable on the EA downloader or somthing for the game as there is still much of the real world militaries that they are missing from the game.

Even better it would be cool if they announced that the new map is going to have new vehicles on it or somthing like what they did for SW back for BF1942.

Even a patch release would be nice at this point!

How about this:

They may release a separate server-side patch in the next few days to fix the frequent crashing

This will allow them more time to finely tune 1.4 to Ea's high standards.....

I'm not going to be pleasantly surprised unless they release pictures of the heads of the idiots who released 1.3 rotting on a pike.

I'd follow this man into battle any day.




and btw EA I still can't play my BF2..

i bet on friday they say a week then the week will go by and the will say a week and then this pattern continues until we all by 2142 and forget there ever was going to be patch 1.4 and then they will laugh at us for being stupid and beliveing them

too ****ing long its just a repeat of 1.3 with a few Minor changes

You people complain that when they release the patch its not done and still have bugs. But yet when they acutally take the time to try to make it right. You still are pissed at them. You people will never be happy.

As for me 1.3 runs fine but its cool to hear about the new patch coming soon. And if it dosnt. Ill just keep playing bf2 till it does.

If 1.4 fixes CTD + random connection lost / game freezes. .....

miscellaneous other errors will be bit more tolerable.

How 1.3 got released + then no hotfix is disappointing to say least.

i cannot get voicebuddy 3.0 to work with bf2 1.3 or 1.4beta? works with every other game!!!please help?

I only hope that it's stable and doesn't crash the servers no more, and yay for no more cartillery :)

I bet 100€ that whenever this patch will gonna be out, the server crashes prob introduced by 1.3 patch, will still be one of our worst nightmares!!!

So I am not really that surprised about this new patch release, unless of course I'll lose my 100€! :)

The CTD are "no more"
Many have tested the beta vesion without many problems like this patch

I have high hopes for this patch, they have made 2 public beta testing phases. No other patch had that, however this also saddens me.

Could this really be the last patch in BF2? They seemed to have put a lot of work into this patch and they added quite a lot.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I do belive that this might very well be the last BF2 patch we will get.
